Luis Antonio Ibañez joins Active Re as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO), to support the company’s expansion plans and business development strategy.

Active Re, with a financial strength rating of A- from AM Best, and more than 12 years in the market, is a leader in reinsurance solutions with presence in over 60 countries.

Ibáñez’s experience in innovation processes, marketing, and customer service, add value to Active Re and its global clients thaclt require specialized and exclusive services in the reinsurance market.

Previously, the executive served for 26 years as Global Chief Operating Officer for the well-known Spanish company CESCE S.A., in which he developed, executed, and leaded successful projects in all business lines and markets, managing around 400 people.
